Repairs
Our shop can fix anything from the simple to the complex. Repairs are subjective and are based on safety and function. No repairs will be done if you do not indicate 'Repair' or 'Repair if necessary' on the request slip.
Our Methods.
We evaluate the blanket looking at age, general condition and what might be needed to bring it back to functionality. We try to match fabric color and type as close as possible. Additionally, we use new hardware where possible but may need to use used hardware to match hardware styles specific to your blanket.
There is often a decision about lining repair; will the tears get bigger or are they catching hair? We may not be able to repair items which have hair, bedding, or foreign material accumulated in the lining. If we think the repair cost will be >$45 or the blanket is not worth repairing we will let you know. We also have leg straps, tail straps, girth or front extensions, and rubber keepers for hardware available for purchase.
